wrist ****ers were unbeatable at that, even the crazy spins came from self circumstantiation, unplayable unless you are a ****er..
Plenty people do go to the whole test but you don't need to. There's loads of nuances, you can just join at any given point and get it. As long as you've been following it and 'understand' I suppose. Even then as a stand alone day you just ask the bloke/girl next to you what's happening and go with it. **** it, grab a beer and enjoy.
Used to play and watch squash. Was decent at it but the lack of decent opponents meant over time I just stopped. Tbf though as a kid born in a country where hockey cricket and squash were the main sports it was going to be hard not to be involved in all to a degree as spectator or participant. My first sports related present was a hockey stick when I was 2/3 as my uncle played. Cricket is in our DNA, being Asian, and the khans ruled squash right up to my 20's. Add to that that I lived near imran sherwani and was at the college he went to and came back to show us his medals that england won in the hockey. Think that's key with any sport. If you know it and the "nuances" as you say its far from boring. A 5 day test where both teams are trying to outsmart each other is riveting. Problem is these days a west indies tour is one sided and teams like Bangladesh are not going to give competition.

I was at Carrow road for an entertaining 1-1 draw against Brighton. On that showing they will struggle next season in the PL ,Norwich guaranteed top 6 in Div2
