... this is quite amusing ... commentary from the Arsenal Spurs game ...."every time Eriksen gets the ball Son starts a run ..." for the ball over the top ... Pochettino emulating 'the master' ... but still all they got was yet another 'generous' penalty draw ...

Inside they are seething ... Ranieri has never lost a league game to Spurs ... Pochettino has never won a league game against Ranieri ...

Spurs nailed on for a 10th place finish if they can keep the run going ... plus a new EPL record for the number of penalties ... meanwhile Chelsea and Arsenal are London's title contenders ... never mind eh?

As to the game ... poor first half very disjointed ... we actually played OK once we went behind and, but for Drinky's howler, we were completely on top and looking like we would go on to win ...

Drinky wasn't at his best all game and midfield is certainly where we need to strengthen in the window ... plus a good younger centre back ...

Drinky is entitled to a poor game ... he has been excellent for such a long time ...

Shrug shoulders ... give it some thought and come back with renewed energy after the international break ...

 

My thoughts exactly, Fosse...

We did start slowly, but once it was back to 1-1, we looked much the better team, and looked like we'd go on to win it.
One mistake from Drinkwater (which, as you say, he is entitled to as he has been excellent for us) and we lose the game.

Shame that our long unbeaten home run has come to an end.

But, we move on... I'm still confident we'll better Chelsea's position last season...

 

We had 9 points at this stage of the season during the great escape - we currently have 12...

We have a lot of highly paid players and is looking more likely we won't qualify for Europe so our current form is a big worry.

 

You can always win the CL you qualify again then.
