That can't be right, the debt was always to owners and I thought they wrote it off, or turned it to shares or something. There will be debts, possibly tens of millions, as there is no way the club can cover its operating costs with income outside the PL, but not £279m.
The trouble is, when faced with what the club in question says, or what UEFA says, most people would go with the latter
Need to build in any FFP fine, when this arbitration finally takes place. That seems to be holding us back.
