    Cant believe no one brought up the Good Friday riot at the Boulevard approx 1981. Made national papers yet seems to of disappeared from history.

    No it hasn't ... I was there it was horrendous to witness, women children with open head wounds, ****ing disgusting. I love both football and rugby league, in fact i like most sports. before I moved away to work I had season passes for both City and FC. traveling from Cambridge each week. Loved it. Anyway back to good Friday. the Boulevard was having some work done and basically they left the site open with a good selection of missiles mainly bricks. As in all sports each club has it's idiots and parasites I will never ever condone these ****s in any sport.

    You can't compare the two for violence. Not long ago this twat (Alan Pardoe) was banned for his antics on the pitch against Derby.

    considering the rivalry it must be the only time it has tipped over to mass violence. Lots of innocent got hurt that day.

    You might not think it an issue that for years the local media did their best to belittle and tarnish the name of Hull City but some of us think it was pretty ****ty of them.

    Yep I was at the Airlie st end thank god ... There have been many skirmishes but nothing like that day. It was shameful.
