It's ok - this isn't another politicis thread. It's just a heads up to those of you going to the Lane on Saturday that there is the possibility of a tube strike starting early Saturday evening and finishing Monday evening. Just check the TFL webiste in the next 48 hours and think about other arrangements if you can.

Apologies for making it a thread of it's own but I know some just browse the boards so wanted to make sure those who could be affected see it.

Cheers Dan, we were talking about this last night as I was planning to get the tube - might have to walk a short way.

Depends where you go and where you have to get back to I suppose. Remember some lines may run anyway - just keep checking on saturday.

The strike, if it goes ahead, is due to start at 9pm on Saturday until 9pm Monday. As I understand it it's just the station staff that are out so trains may well be running but some stations not manned / closed but it isn't exactly clear ( which is possiblty the intention ? )
