Right 3 points, I haven´t slept and watched the game in a cantina on tele.

1. DC should have been sent oof, ref was weak.
2. we will be ok this season, and in that I mean we will stay up.
3. Igahlo and deeney are static, we need to change the top two...didn´t even threaten between them. one has to change as it is OBVIO what defenders are up againts.

Well I thought we played very well for the first 75 minutes, looked the part premiership wise with playing out from the back and solid defensively and if we had put 1 of our 2 first half chances away.... I like the fact that despite all the new arrivals we are essentially playing with last years players and they seem to be acquitting themselves well. We lost the plot in the last 15 minutes and I feel Mazzari is a bit reluctant to sub players to see the game out or attack when needed. Felt we deserved a point but when I saw the first few fixtures I felt we would be lucky to come away with any points at all.

 

Hard to take. Gave it away and Costa, yet again, should not be on the park when he scored. Weak refereeing allowed that. Not entirely the referees fault we lost so none of that nonsense from me.
They made the changes, the ball just seemed to fall for them and they always seemed to have a spare man.
Goes like that sometimes. That's football, eh?

 

Did well for 80 minutes but a couple of mistakes cost us..

Shame as we more than matched Chelsea till then.

Maybe could have made some subs earlier to freshen the team up.

 

Seen some comments tonight that quality of food available in the ground is much better, but the prices are far too high. Anyone like to comment?

Back home now. I thought that was a really good effort, especially first half where we contained Chelsea's mega-millions well. Like the fight of Amrabat in the first half. Looked like he was playing for his place. Have overall come away feeling like City, United and Spurs games last year where a point really would have been the fair result. On a positive note, although I can't make it as I'm holiday next week, the Gooners all seem to be moaning about Wenger more than ever.

So pissed off that De Costa plays the Premier League officialdom like a bleedin' fiddle. They are scared to issue the second yellow in case it looks like a witch hunt. If he deserves the card give him the card.

Agree with A1 about Totteringham match last year, very similar feeling.

 

Didn't think much of the Costa dive at the time. Mainly because a number of there players fell over when tickled by a feather throughout the game and it was outside the box.
Otherwise enjoyed the new style although nail biting.

Could tell certain players were playing for their squad place and out of those Amrabat has been the most impressive.

Third season in a row Troy has done too much gym work and is sluggish for first few weeks. Igy much improved from previous week. Gomes & Gueds mistakes cost us in the end plus Watson unavailable to come on at 70 to close game out.
