The end of season awards evening is going to be held on Monday 22 May at Wembley Stadium. I will not have decide if a three course meal is worth forking out a £185 or £150 for a cheap seat, as I will be on holiday. Of course those prices do not include VAT. It is actually cheaper for my fortnights accommodation down on the Med than for the two of us to go to this event
sadly they are pricing the mere fan out of this one..they want the big bucks in! Hey ho, it was fun while it lasted, but i'd rather spend it on a holiday!
Well i hope they got it totally wrong i took Bournemouth to go down (10/1) there form is poor and there main diver is out for the rest of the season
Looks as if we have signed another player who we may or not see in a Watford shirt. http://www.golesvinotinto.com/2017/02/el-vinotinto-sub-20-williams-velasquez.html?m=1
If it only needs 43 points to come 11th - then what is 'safety' - 36 ? Ridiculous. However, looking the other way, if we get 48-50, ( and we have 8 winnable games , so 6 + 2 draws isn't impossible) where would that get us 8th possibly ? It looks like the top 6 have stretched away this season so the best we could dream of is catching Albion (now on 37) - as Everton at 41 is out of reach. They could probably claim the money for being 7th already.
Didn't know where best to post this, but... Have just discovered this interview on the club website with Ross 'The Longman' Jenkins - well worth 4 minutes of anyone's time. https://www.watfordfc.com/club/golden-memories-ross-jenkins
Are Watford a cash machine as well as a football club? http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-debt-force-transfer-see-watford-make-e2-4m-early-next-week/
Anterior cruciate ligament rupture and a medial ligament injury - won't see him until next season I suppose.
Confirmed, out until end of season, biggest shame as he was looking so sharp and was bought in as cover for our other injured creative mid. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._reveals_seriousness_of_knee_ligament_injury/
There is an interesting article in the Watford Observer about Steve Harrison. When you think that he had to follow Bassett it is not too surprising he found it hard.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...l_Watford_games_moved_for_television/?ref=rss Monday night football at the Vic in May and an early kick off at WHL unless Arsenal or Leicester reach the next round of the Champions league which seems unlikely...certainly for the former. Lets just hope we turn up this time against these two!
