This is WO article is very interesting for what is says about Paredes and what it says about Mazzarri: Juan Carlos Paredes could be handed a lifeline for his Watford career, the Watford Observer understands. The Ecuadorian right-back has been frozen out of the Hornets’ season so far, missing out on their 25-man Premier League squad and featuring only in August’s League Cup defeat to Gillingham. But head coach Walter Mazzarri is now considering bringing him back into the fold and close to abandoning the back-three formation he has favoured at Vicarage Road to date. Mazzarri, should he continue in his role beyond January, is likely to favour a back four in the second half of the season, something which would spell a surprising reconciliation for the 29-year-old. Paredes had been allowed time off over Christmas and New Year to train in Ecuador, partly due to his omission from the Watford squad. But owner Gino Pozzo has since requested he return to England, and he is likely to feature in Saturday’s FA Cup game with Burton Albion. mmm.................................
If this is true, then we need to offload a couple of CBs to make space - 6 is too many if we can only start 2. I'm guessing we would then go to a 4-3-3, although would personally prefer a 4-4-2, get a proper left-winger in, with Amrabat on the other wing, and still play 2 up top.
I'd take anything over £15/20m for Ighalo right now... but would love it if we can get nearer £30m. As he hasn't exactly been playing, not sure we need a direct replacement in January, so would prefer if we invested that in a couple of young, English players...
http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...ignings-and-told-future-is-safe-a3434491.html Mazzari given money to spend - and told his job is safe... Let's hope that shuts up all the distractors currently calling for his head.
Do we believe the local or national media? I think the guy who has written the article is a Watford fan as well. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/watford-sack-looms-walter-mazzarri-9552754
Neither - the Pozzos will do what the Pozzos will do. Paper talk and pub talk are little more than speculation.
This seems to be a bit of a storm in a tea cup. http://www.disabilitynewsservice.co...s-it-will-break-promise-on-wheelchair-spaces/
Classic case of national criteria outstripping local demand. I'm not convinced our facilities are adequate but they do appear to be sufficient. I agree with the club's stance but the law may force our hand.
Well where else can they put on more space for wheelchairs? And is there the demand - ofcourse disabled people deserve to be treated fairly but at the expense of other fans?
The problem is if you don't provide the service people don't come....and having pushed my mum around for the past two years I can tell you it is hard for people in wheelchairs to do things with the same freedom as able bodied people ..... just look at parking for people with disabilities around the ground.... how can you even get to a game if you cant park etc etc
Jakubiak's back and scoring - has just equalised for the U23s against Coventry from the penalty spot.
Millwall away - guess we will field a "full strength team"... Might be a last chance to go to the New Den...
