How many others like me are tired of all the threads started by United_Matth {in one name or another}??
He rarely has any worthwhile input, simply quoting verbatim from newspapers and other media, virtually highjacking this forum in the process!!

Is there no way to rid the forum of him, or must we just hope for his PC to blow up?:emoticon-0112-wonde

Being serious; as controversial as Matth can be, it would be pretty quiet on the Manchester United forum without him.

He brings a lot to the table for this forum to discuss, so he has to be credited for that.

    If only you would!!

You seem to believe that you are the only one able to read and your one purpose in life is to point out the obvious.<doh>

Take no notice Matt, this forum needs your presence, you're the heartbeat of this forum, without you the forum will die and lose its colour, and even Derek Asamoah enjoys your posts.

Starting five threads on Moyes in one single day isn't normal. Take your meds, matth.

When I was on the Premier League board and saw this board had gooner4eva as the last poster I actually assumed it was matt.

The question is whether the forum being quiet is as much down to other posters being turned off by all their threads being turned into the usual matth vs whoever is willing to have an argument with him.

When matth was banned at various points over the past few years, our board was always pretty busy. Posters seem to leave in proportion to how much matth posts, particularly when he's just spamming links from Twitter or the latest ****rag website he's visited.

Of course before we blame all that on matth, we should also think of other reasons why none of our fans would want to talk about Utd as much this season... :emoticon-0120-doh:

Anyone who finds a thread pointless should just not post on it. If everyone finds it poinless it will drop off the page (assuming enough people post threads with a point to take it`s place). Matth is a prolific poster of threads, but the fact that quite a lot of them run to many pages means somebody is interested in them (unless they are all filled with children taking the piss which would not be the fault of the originator).

I agree to a point Matth is good for these boards a lot of the time, but he doesn't need to start more than 1 thread on the same subject each day. You don't need to start a thread on Moyes being sacked, and then start one on who our next manager is, as it's kind of the same thing, and both threads end up having the same discussions. It just makes it very confusing for everyone when they want to see the comments on the subject:biggrin:

This. Although it's not a perfect system.

I try not to comment on any of the useless threads (although I find it very hard not to be sarcastic), and I think many other regular posters do the same, but then all the idiots looking for 'banter' with Matth will comment on the thread and look to provoke him. Usually it's not about the thread topic anyway, but about petty personal stuff or the alleged Chelsea support etc.

The fact is that he posts and posts, generally about his mentor Moyes and invariably in batches. He has nothing constructive to add to bare headlines, but his posts invariably provoke others to comment.

If everyone ignored his posts, he may get the message and leave for Chelsea, Swansea, or somewhere other than here.
