Love it JM. A regular MDT like KIO for main Team games would be awesome! (If you had time/wanted to) Was so tempted for this, but I literally just finished in my garden. Building a big work/potting bench in my shed from scratch, with shelves and paining it all. Can't believe where the time went!
Jarvis!? I just watched TalkNorwichCity, and he said Jarvis was out for the rest of the season!? Which he was gutted about coz he's been injured all season already. Is he playing tonight!?
Jarvis is playing, thigh though not very well. Mulumbu had been giving the ball away a lot. If we're to go through, we need to create more in front of goal.
I wonder where Jack got the Jarvis news from then! He's going to look a bit silly with his starting tonight! Good to hear the youth team and following the main team!
The Pink'un coverage also says that we're not creating enough chances. Hopefully this will improve in the second half. COYY!
What a shame.....so close. Penalty saved, hit the bar twice, great saves from the Sunderland keeper. Just not our night! Strange that neither Maddison or Cantwell played tonight. Sounds like we could have used the creativity they would bring.
Yes, so close and i expect JM is in the squad for tomorrow. I hope we NEVER see Mulumbu in yellow and green again!!? Now off to the Fat Cat for something to drown my sorrows!!? Now made it to the Fat Cat and a very nice pint of Bishop's Farewell. Thanks for all the comments/posts.
Bit hard on Mulumbu as he's been out for 7 weeks and must have been rusty. Having said that, I'm pretty sure he'll be off in the summer.
Fair comment Rick and he's certainly one of many who I hope will be gone in the summer. Match report from the official website - http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/norwich-city-sunderland-u23s-3651575.aspx
Yes, I like both Godfrey (no 5) and Efete (No 6). I think it was possibly too soon for Mulumbu and I've no idea why Cantwell wasn't playing/on the bench. We'll just have to beat Loserpool on Monday!!!!
Went into Queen Of Iceni after the game and it was full of teenagers playing dub step so we opted for a TGI where they gather in groups and sing happy birthday in a faux American embarrassment. My Scorpion chicken burger and pint of Peroni was nice though
Absolutely DD - I went in the Queen Of Iceni after we lost to Huddersfield on a Friday before Xmas and didn't even stop to buy a beer and so last night opted instead for a walk to the Fat Cat - good beer and people just enjoying themselves without the American Hype and you could have gone via the Stafford St Chippy if you wanted something to eat. If you wanted to stay closer to the station, you could have gone to the Coach and Horses/Fat Cat Canary, though not sure where you could have got something to eat at that time of night. I was disappointed we lost and I thought Mulumbu was atrocious. It was good to see Middleton get the full 90 minutes and he has had better games and in general, I think both defences were pretty much on top and their keeper was exceptional (if a little lucky to stay on the pitch!!). Just seen this in today's EDP - “Todd (Cantwell) has a thigh strain, Louis McIntosh has a hamstring strain and probably in the key moments we missed them,” Money added. “They have the ability to make the killer pass at the right moment and maybe at times we missed that.” So they now move on to play Liverpool in the PL Cup quarter final after we beat Fulham on penalties in the previous round.
Such a shame, so near and yet so far Never mind cheer up folks we'll beat the Villa today as we march towards Wembley and a return to the Premier League #inirvinewetrust
