Greening would be quality in the championship. We just have a lot of midfielders so he hasn't had many chances.
I got plugged into Monopoly when it first came out on the C64 and I've never been able to get this damn top hat off.
Word today of Jol wanting Keane, perhaps to restart their old partnership as Spuds. For me, no. I don't like him, and prefer what we've got already/someone else. Leave him be please. Thoughts?
My thoughts on who would be my transfer targets as of today are El Hamdaoui (Ajax) in for to take place of Kamara Mladen Petric (Hamburg) in for AJ if he's off to WBA or sold. Iziguirre (Celtic) in for Salcido if he's off to Mexico Hitzilsperger (West Ham) in for Greening if he's off to Nottingham Forest Bosingwa (Chelsea) for Pantsil if he gets let go.
S B Mc Like your choices. Come on lets go for it, throw Charlie Adam, & Scott Parker, into the would like mix.
I think for Adam and Parker we might be bidding with bigger clubs who'd jack up the price for them and would probably have to be paid for by a sale one of our top players like Dembele or Dempsey which I don't want to see. The above lot I mentioned might cost about £20 million and the sales could get us back about £6m
Bosingwa to leave Chelsea and not play Champ League football. Doubtful. He's be useful. I'd say we are at a Alan Hutton or Warnock level. Both good.
Oh God please not Keane. I've heard a move for Hutton is in the pipeline, which would be a cracking signing. Parker and Adam will go to better clubs.
Unless he has signed a new contract he is into the last year of his contract. Chelsea also have Ferreira and Ivanovic as rightback, Bosingwa might want to stay in London, Chelsea might not want him to go to an Arsenal or Spurs, so might loan us him. thats a lota mights but you never know..maybe...
Keane and AJ are far too similar to play together, you could see it at Spurs, him and Defoe never played well together and needed Crouch to shake things up a bit. I would much rather AJ stayed than he left and was replaced by Keane.
Beeb reports Heitinga wants naway from Everton for European football - he's a bit more forceful than our usual style and can double up as DM - what do folks think?
I'd love Heitinga at the club, can't see where he'd fit in though.... Didn't he have a spell at right back at Everton too?
