Uncle Tony says... “I think Niko will be done. He’s worked hard on his fitness, he’s lost weight, he’ll be a good addition to us. We tried for Jermain, we’ll do back for it in January, Harry feels we have enough with strikers. We’ve kept Adel, he’ll surprise people, he can turn games for us in a few minutes. I think Adel will be something special for us in the rest of the season, he’s a player who can do extraordinary things.”
IanJTaylor ‏@IJTaylor81 3m For all those pressing the panic button about @eduvargas_17 - I'm told by powers that be that it's a formality. Don't worry @QPRFC fans #QPR
Cheers Grif, great interview David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 Glad Niko back. Always on the cards. Lots of badge-kissing BS in football but he genuinely likes QPR& the fans. V popular with other players About to radically change my mind. Very happy about Niko, lets hope he delivers.
Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Steven Caulker (Cardiff), Jordon Mutch (Cardiff), Leroy Fer (Norwich), Jack Robinson (Liverpool), Alex McCarthy (Reading), Mauricio Isla (Juventus, loan), Eduardo Vargas (Napoli, loan), Sandro (Tottenham) and Niko.... Not bad at all....The rrrrrrrs are staying up...!
Lots of positives in the window. The only really serious one we missed on was a striker. 2.5 isnt enough, but Adel has played there well before (chelsea away) and Hoilett and Phillips can if we are desparate. We look short at RB too with only Isla who I think is happier as a wingback, but Ned can cover there.
tonyfernandes @tonyfernandes Long transfer window. One of my favourites was Jack Robinson from Liverpool who we put out on loan. Young players the future and Alex macarthy Well done Tony
Great interview with Kranky, looks much fitter and speaks really well about the team and fans. As has been said, a fit Kranky should be good with the players we now have available around him. Disappointed about the non-striker but happy with all the other acquisitions we have made since the summer. Onwards and upwards you rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!
Oh and must add that I'm very happy we kept hold of Ned!!! .......the less said about our inability to send Swp absolutely anywhere but here the better
Net spend is £14million - but not including any fee we got for Granero. So with the players we have signed that is pretty outstanding.
Judo, how do you work that one out mate? EDIT: Oh yes we sold Remy! You still seem a bit light there though
SWP will go out on loan directly the window is open....but glad we kept Ned, Clint and big respect to Traore. Traore wants to stay and fight....Good lad good spirit. An extra striker and I would have been over the moon. But we are obviously going to only play one up front...let's see what Vargas is like... Overall happy.
I think we probably will still get Diarra. It sounds like Dynamo Moscow played silly buggers, having told all the players their contracts were cancelled, but they just didn't get around to tearing them up. But it's highly unlikely they will be keeping the players, therefore at sometime in the near future he'll become a free agent and free to join. But will he still join now we have Sandro?
