to be honest, I like Andy Carroll. he's just had a bad time due to the price tag. he offered a lot for newcastle; a player doesn't ever lose that. - same applies for Torres. he'll be back on form in the not too distance future, unfortunately. Losing defoe is a bad move for us. he's a nuisance, he's clinical and we won't get a replacement. he just needs games.
just that we're interested YV. - they teased us just before the last advert break when they went back to that Nick bloke outside the lodge, but havent been back to tell us more about it yet. ahh! what I was getting at, is that sky are much more reliable than the other sources that say "interested".
Ah, I'd heard earlier that we were interested but thought we might have made a bid or something that I'd missed.
Well I can't really see anything happening now in terms of getting someone awesome. Rodallega has, obviously as we're playing Wigan, been sighted at Spurs but, more worryingly (for some anyway) - Defoe hasn't. I just read a rumour on Sky Sports that Liverpool will bid about £9m for him - which is very very cheap.
Defoe's injured, apparently. Looks like both he and Lennon failed their fitness tests. Pienaar's on the bench, we've got no back-up striker and Lancaster (a midfielder?) is there, too. Kranjcar starts, Sandro makes his return to the squad and King's back.
There was mention of Defoe having a hamstring problem a couple of days ago - but, as it's TDD, it means he's moving...
Owen Hargreaves was crocked when Citeh signed him. (However, my comment was made with the heaviest amount of sarcasm)
Looks like Saha is coming then:-2206: Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Spurs have agreed a deal with Everton for Louis Saha and "thinks it is all sorted". Redknapp added: "He is sharp and he has got good movement".And Pav out:-2214: Oh, and Harry Redknapp also said that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is handling striker Roman Pavlyuchenko's prospective move to with Lokomotiv Moscow, and he thinks that will go through too. I knew Spurs would be busy, they always are...Ummmm???
norwich signed pilkington when he was still a month away from recovering from a broken leg - it's just rare.
Surely Cisse would have been a better bet than Saha...? Cisse is a very similar player to Ade, I can't understand why we wouldn''t go for him over Lousi bloody Saha...
If this Nelsen transfer isn't some sneaky lie to divert from us buying Samba, then it better not have gone through. The Kiwi was a very good player a couple of years ago, but he's falling apart now.
And now they're saying that Pienaar might be going back to Everton on loan. What the **** is this ****?!
