He bought the best that was available - at least at prices that weren't too stupid. Remember he tried to get Knockheart from Brighton and they wouldn't sell. It's difficult to build a whole squad in one go. Also, you have to give Brighton credit in fairness. We beat them twice and did our bit against them but they just keep winning. They've been building that team for a few years now. Fair play to them for me. Have you run out of Muesli by the way? You've been a right miserable ****er the last week or so.
We have basically been robbed tonight and fully deserved the win. We have played well and only drawn but that's football; it happens sometimes. I have to say that it looked like a stonewall penalty in the second half and yet again we weren't given it. There is absolutely no way we have had our fair share of decisions this season with many certain pens not given and some outrageous refereeing displays like Forest away and Burton at home. That has cost us points no doubt and arguably the title. As for individual performances, I though Mbemba was really good (maybe at fault for their goal though, I'm not certain), Ritchie great as always and Hayden very good - it's just chalk and cheese between him and Colback. No bad performances really, although the subs didn't cover themselves in glory. The atmosphere was the best this season and it was an entertaining game. I reckon everyone should get every Friday off work from now on and we'll play games on Friday nights. All day drinking certainly helps get the volume levels up. I even spotted a few fans over in the Leazes end clapping and singing.
Think this is pretty fair - just a lot of frustration that we can't close out promotion. Really missed Gayle tonight - think he would've finished a couple of those half chances
Last couple of minutes maybe, but otherwise we were way better than we've been lately. Think you have to credit Leeds defenders and keeper as well for some good last ditch tackles/blocks etc
I'm not questioning him mate. I know he is the right man for the job - the squad however - in the main - is something else entirely.

Poor result but we were not too bad. Once again though when Rafa is faced with the same age old problem that has been posed all season, he has come up tactically short by just continuing to bang his head against the wall. Bit bewildering really but he is just very conservative by nature. We lack creativity in the squad, and in our coaching/tactical decisions.
Without a doubt because we're not going to get the vast amount of money required plus pay the wages required to get the players needed to even compete
