    Birmingham were lucky to get nil to be fair. We were totally dominant from start to finish in every department. Hard to not give Gayle man of the match after getting a hattrick but Shelvey was running the show all game long and has a genuine claim for it. He really is a class player. Ritchie and Gouffran linked well too and Hayden was hard working and had the odd flurry forward. Diame showing some actual quality too, whatever next? Superb performance all round.

    What's happening with Shelvey in regards to the alleged racism? Surprised he wasn't taken out of the first team while still goes on, but by sounds of it it's not affecting his game and innocent until proven guilty so no reason he shouldn't be allowed to play.

    I think his personal hearing is on the week of the 19th December. I'm in the dark about what evidence there is supposed to be against him. I'm assuming it's just their player(s) word against his and if so I think he has a chance of getting off.
