Linked with us yet again and Derby would sell for £10m+ allegedly. I bloody bet they would since he's worth about £4m. Potential swap deal involving Hanley and cash mooted but 99% of reported swap deals never happen so I'm not banking on that rumour. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/derby-ready-sell-top-scorer-10440957 I don't rate him much and I don't think it'd be money well spent for what would probably be a 4th choice winger (assuming we sign Atsu and someone for the first team - Townsend?). Besides that, at some point we have got to be looking at proven Premier League players.
there will be a lot of crap being offered i recon ... have to get the right players ...this lad is not good enough ...
Ince is ****ing ****. Paul Dummett had him in his pocket at St James ffs. If he is the calibre of player we are looking at then we may as well not bother next season.
I hope the fans give him more of a chance, I genuinely think he has developed and is far from a liability. Is he clear Premiership quality? No. He's good enough to handle the best the Championship had to offer with ease though and is probably good enough for a bottom half of the Premiership side right now - he's 25 and I'm happy to see him in the team.
Defensively he is Premier League quality but it is his forward play is not good enough at the moment if we were looking to challenge the top 8. That said, I think he contributes a lot more going forward since Rafa came in. I'd rather have a defender who can defend and not so good at attacking then the other way round. Squad-wise we would be mad to sell him, especially with him being able to play CB, although I think there is little chance of Rafa doing that.
