Tidal Surge at Stadium of Plight

There was a tidal surge at the about half 3 this afternoon................. a tidal surge of 'fans' deserting their team yet again................... those crazy, fickle mackems

 

I heard that Moyes came out and tried to justify the mass* exodus by saying there is only one road in and out of Sunderland so it was understandable the fans wanted to beat the traffic.... ffs

Mackems I know ain't happy with that at all.

*the terms mass is in no way meant to give the false impression that the SOL was full.

 

And just to add, I was nowhere near, so the large mass has nothing to do with me.

 

It came over the tannoy that Poundland were selling 6 fingered gloves for 90p.

Apparently they are thinking of installing an early surge warning system around the stadium. Like the tsunami warning systems it will be designed to protect the local population, by sounding whenever the opposition score 2 goals within the first 20minutes. On hearing the sound they are meant to go quickly but calmly indoors to avoid being trampled in the ensuing stampede.

Seriously that cannot be doing any good for morale. They piss off the real supporters, and the players must think we're on our own here. Years and years of being let down though, we know what that's like. Takes an iron will to just keep thinking I've got to support them.
