    Spot on, mate.

If he hasn't 'got his head straight' by now, it ain't likely to happen.

Yep, he's a winner and it's in his blood to try his best. He wouldn't be there for a Premier League pay day.

I think I'm right in saying that he's the most decorated footballer that's still playing.

He's 21 and has just been offered shed loads of money. Not surprised he couldn't handle it. There's no way I'd have been able to handle 150 grand a week coupled with fame when I was 19/20. I'd struggle now ffs.

Depends on the mentality of the person.
Some players can hack it, some cant

Not only that but you need strong people around you.

Shaw seems to have a knobhead agent and a load of friends interested in his money rather than his career.

It was stupid of him to go to United that young anyway to be honest, especially for that amount of money.
Rooney made the step up as a teen to United but he was the exception rather than the rule.
If he had stuck with Southampton till about now, he probably would have developed into a decent player, on less money, therefore less of a douchebag.
Made the step up too soon.

All conjecture of course, we will never know.
But I always maintained that it was a stupid move for both United and Shaw.
The guy had only had 1 full season of professional football when United paid £30m for him ffs <doh>

    Totally agree.

You can be as good as you like but if your head isn't in the right place then you'll never make it.

Rooney is a winner. Say what you like about him but he'll do everything he can to win football games. Those players reach the top.

Sure is ...that trophy haul especially ... :) ... Chelsea and Arsenal will be looking on in envy if they only end up with the EPL title and FA Cup between them. ...I think that the " Quickest Exit Out Of The UCL By An English Club" trophy stands out ...wouldn't you say? ... :)

    <laugh>

Fossy falls in the door at 1:30am, barf all down the front of his cardigan, slaps up a bunch of bitchy comments, then passes out face first on the keyboard.

I preferred 'last season Fossy', such a nice boy. <hug>

Thats what a year of facing bitterness from all corners can do to a person.
Leicester fans aren't used to taking the crap that fans of the top team gets.
But now they have had a taste. Its an unfortunate by-product of winning the league.

Sounds like Fosse took the 1-6 hammering really badly. Worst home defeat in 120 years etc...then latched onto his Chelsea/Arsenal allegiance to try and knock the Spurs down.

    Women <doh>

No doubt he's passed out somewhere with his thongs around his ankles whilst hugging one of his high heel shoes.

Funny old world Father Bope....Fosse can't take the crap(according to you)but sure as hell knows how to dish it out.

Talking bollocks must be a by product too. However, more to the point, Fosse is struggling to overcome the arse whooping his team took a few days ago so let's just let him sleep it off.
