What a choice the Americans have infront of them, but which way would you vote?

Two votes a piece; One for your prefered candidate and one for your "We can't possibly let that lunatic in the white house" choice

    Bah!

I've kicked off, whilst I really wouldn't want Clinton near office, the thought of a Cnut like Trump as leader of the free world cannot possibly represent progress! Can it? There are parallels with Europe and the likes of UKIP.
Trump is seemingly riding a wave of dissatisfaction with the established order and is garnering votes from the poorer factions of their society. The west and the rich ruling classes need to heed these warnings before these countries start to disintegrate.

    Bah!

I was having a brief discussion on the topic the other day and we agreed that NEITHER is really fi to be president - your thread title says it all really.
I can see why Trump is gathering votes from the poorer elements of the population, but will he really support them were he to win - I doubt it. I wouldn't feel particularly safe with Hilary in charge either.

As I see it, Hilary has not actually broken any law, whereas Trump, if the allegations are true, has very much broken several criminal laws ergo it is HE who should be in prison!

I agree though that neither is very appealing! <ok>

Hilary is the lesser of two evils, Trump would just be a disaster and shouldn't even got this far. It's like the UK and the US are having a competition of who can **** up their country the most.

Genuine race to the bottom. Two pretty poor candidates but Clinton definitely the lesser of two evils.

Hard to fathom how such s large country could put forward such paucity of choice. Mind you s lot of people voted UKIP over here so probably some Trump sympathisers out there - you know who you are you naughty BREXITERs!!!!

    Electing Trump is unconstitutional

    Because

It is unconstitutional to subject American citizens to rare and unusual punishment!

F**king hell....The racists and sexist communities are even more than I thought! American are going to do a wet Trump all over this world.

As The Preacherman said "Welcome to the rise of the idiots". First our idiots, now The Americans have followed. There is going to be a world war imminent.

Ooops ! Didn't realise there was this discussion on here, I've just started a thread about it.

I doubt we'll see WW3 FML but the world is set for dramatic change that's for sure and all because the political classes haven't listened to the masses for decades. The similarities between what has happened in the USA and over here with the #brexit vote is startling.

It's amazing that in my lifetime we have had the most stupidest person ever to be president (Bush), and now the most openly Racist, Sexist, Offensive and self Absorbed person to be President. Words fail me.

Just to say also. Clinton was a f*cking terrible candidate, would also make a useless President. I would have hated to of had to vote for either. I could not, however, chose to vote for hate.
