I lost intrest in computer/console video games after the Sony PlayStation. Started with c64 then Amiga 500, sega megadrive, Atari lynx, super Nintendo, game gear, ps1, ps2 and psp. Every game these days is just another 1st person shooter with 30 buttons on joy pad to try remember. I did get an Xbox 360 but never had the patience for it apart from the odd driving game. I threw the controller out the window on three or for occasion!
Lol, ten min of loading if it did, those were the days. Or doing good on a game then the computer crashed....
As a baby boomer, my favourite game would be a pinball machine named, Joker Poker by Williams 1976? You have to knock down all the targets. I bought Flash by Williams, which was a great machine but had too many electronic issues so l sold it. Nowadays, they used computer chips to generate sounds etc so they can be fixed up really well.
