wiz, is that 82nd in the football league?? that comment goes right up there with prides comment with his left and rights from a birds eye view chris, we all know its 62 at ipswich but millens admitted the other day it was actually 63. im happy to go along with that
Last nights attendance of 771 is the smallest ever to watch a Rovers competitive fixture since Rovers were elected to the Football League in 1920.
looks like you were right. im sure there would fo been many more if we were the home team then there would of been more.
In spite of everything....England playing....JPT....first round....rainy afternoon....midweek....we still took more than championship City did to a league match v Ipswich !
More than that....I was the first there and the steward showed me my own empty stand....at just before 7pm! I thought ****. At 7.10 I counted 21....then there was a continuous influx and I'd say there was nearer 150 come the start.
I remember listening to the Radio Bristol commentary of that Ipswich match and being taken aback when the commentator said there were 62 away fans. As he spent the whole match watching what went on I'm sure he would have said something if he thought that figure was wrong! Anyways, water under the bridge....
