Well said Luke, people need to fold their flags up for a moment and look at the reality of situations. The IRA only exists because the English still occupy part of Ireland Just try to imagine how you might feel if Norfolk was occupied by the Dutch or Kent by the French. Although in some ways that might be better than the present occupation by the USA
I wish I could triple like a post. Well done Luke, the British invented concentration camps in South Africa, over 100,000 men, women and children died. Any decent British leader should apologise at the first possible opportunity. Unfortunately, we never had a decent leader.
I think that you have to be honest in your assessment of human behaviour. Some of the atrocities committed by other nations (or organisations) are not as alien and inconceivable as we like to pretend. The British have a long history of showing utter contempt for the lives of others, in all parts of the world. Concentration camps in South Africa, the slave trade, the Black Hole of Calcutta , Amritsar, Mau Maus - the list goes on and on. There are no acts of "evil" or"terrorism" that the British haven't been prepared to commit without any qualms whatsoever in the past. Historical amnesia doesn't help addressing these issues. These kinds of acts are not exclusive to people from other parts who don't share our "values". There are acts we have to take responsibility for too. Many of our atrocities weren't all that long ago - this isn't ancient history.
So it's emerged that the Dire Leader also pissed away £200k worth of taxpayer's money in severance payments to twenty different ministers, including... £15-20k to George Osborne £19,723 to Baroness Altmann £16,887 each to Michael Gove, Nicky Morgan and Stephen Crabb £7920 each to Anna Soubry and Ed Vaizy £5-10k to an unnamed minister Looks like another magic money tree to me...
The White House should be renamed. The Nut House seems appropriate. The Trump family reminds me of the series "Married with Children". At least Ed O'Neill keeps his hand to himself while Trump's wife does a fair impersonation of "Peg". Ivanka? I think she's only there for......what the hell is she there for? The rest are given a typed speech from Trump to give to the press.Doesn't matter if it's all lies. His supporters are that gullible. .......and now "idiot McConnell" is doing his Hitler thing....."You WILL sign this health nonsense or I shall smack you with my Trump made handbag!"
Her main purpose appears to be so they can say Trump will attend...but they don't specify which one, meaning he can fob off things that don't suit his agenda, such as the G20.
Yes.How do they try to prise him away from his golf club and a free ride in the jumbo...at the peoples expense?
Spicer out.Scaramouche in....and more bullcrap from Conway.....and Huckabee takes over reading Trump's daily dribble. I wonder if Hillary's at home laughing her head off.......?
You have a point,Human.People who turn their backs on things like global warming couldn't care less about about their grandchildren, great grandchildren They are just living for today and the hell with everyone else......are you listening,Trump?
Sorry, Smithy, but your adopted country is becoming the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Not only were they dumb enough to elect the most obvious charlatan and crook around in the first place, now they have this ever deepening Russian connection fiasco. Plus the erstwhile president is busy decrying all opposition via his twitter account. Here, show this to your Trump supporting friends.
Trump and the Tories both have the attitude that the only thing that matters is the money in their pocket in that moment, completely ignoring the fact that their policies may well make that money worthless ten years from now - or the fact that their pocket is on fire.
http://www.snopes.com/1998-trump-people-quote/ Despite People‘s comprehensive online content archive, we found no interview or profile on Donald Trump in 1998 (or any other time) that quoted his saying anything that even vaguely resembled the words in this meme.
Why would he sue People magazine, when they've never printed it? In fact, according to Snopes, nobody but interweb trolls and gullible fools have ever quoted it.
Well, sue whoever has printed it then. If it's so far from his true thoughts, you'd think he'd be very upset. Or why hasn't People magazine taken action against whoever has 'misquoted' them?
You've grabbed a quote that was debunked long ago, and posted it without checking. Suck it up and move on.
