Hello F1 Not606ers, That was an eventful weekend. but yet Mr Vettel wins out again although this time it was down to outright luck. I have merged The predicted winner thread with the chat and will do so from now on. to cut down on stickies. Sadly I wont be about for the weekend of the GP as I will be at the Download Festival =O and will come on here after Ive watched the race on Monday afternoon. Hopefully AG and BLS will be about. No messing about now. Hamilton's a dead cert. It's his comeback race. Did I say race? Sorry I meant event.
You cannot say anyone but Lewis. I mean came back from shocker in Sepang to win in Shanghai, and coming back from a absolute disaster in Monte Carlo to surely win at a track where he is a master at. 3 poles out of 3 2 wins out of 3. Nuff sed.
I'll wait until Canada thanks, If Lewis doesn't get a grid penalty for Canada I'll vote for him. If he does I'll go Button, he's looking strong after Monaco, he knows he can fight with the best in that McLaren.
He already got his penalty like 2 days ago!!!!What more do you want???? A Life Time Ban from all F1 Activities???
It still doesn't stop them doing something later. This isn't football were the ref pulls out a yellow card on an obvious season bann offence and in the end they can't do something later. I know it's most likely Lewis will win this GP but can you blame me for not wanting to vote for him right now? The storm is still setting down slowly on all sides, and No i'm not asking for a season bann.
Is this thread going to be the Canada Chat too? There was a previous discussion about streamlining the number of sticky's at the top of the page, as some of us thought it was getting a bit much. Or are we sticking with the previous 2 thread format? I'm not bothered either way, I just thought I'd make the point now before a second thread is created.
Well remembered, DHC. I'd forgotten about that. A Single Prediction/Chat thread gets my vote. It also means we can run two chat threads simultaneously for a couple of days during the crossover.
You're right, I cannot say anyone else for the very reasons you give. Alonso, Button and Vettel must be strong possibilities too though.
Crossover complete. I wonder if Boullier's taken into account the burning cars with "just a dodgy sensor" they give to Heidfeld.
Well I hope Vitaly's racing in Canada and Nick's nice enough but I'd love to see Bruno Senna get a chance in decent car.
I polled Rosberg. I mean I have voted for Rosberg in the poll (yeah that sounds better). Of course that is through hope more than logic. But I don't see this being a Red Bull victory - just like last year. I fully expect McLaren to be the team to beat. McLaren look to have the race pace over Red Bull for the last two races and it could be argued that Montreal is a McLaren track. So I'd fully expect McLaren to get it right this time around. But I still have my fingers crossed that Mercedes will get a bit of good luck and Rosberg will take his first F1 win.
i hope lewis doesnt get a grid penalty. hopefully he'll get pole in canada, have a nice clean race from start to finish, and win.
