With all due respect, this forum is much more lenient with what's allowed compared to the others. The Facebook ones kick you for literally anything: swearing, disagreeing with the admin, calling for protests etc. People have been kicked for the above and more.

Let's keep the transfer thread discussing transfers and not player nicknames.

 

So it should be like that. I didn't realise that this forum belonged to anyone on here - therefore the rules should be liberal and agreed by the whole.

Discourse, by nature, can naturally move from the linear - as in this case - if the rules to counter this were consistently applied then so be it. You only have to look at the 'new owners' thread - most of it recently has been clogged by talk about Sterling's beliefs in aliens.

I think it'd been fair to 'move' the posts, as has been done before, but to delete them seemed twattish.

If you mean, being bothered to delete 3 pages of posts because it went slightly off track of transfers, I agree.

In the main, it was Clucas being discussed and how some of our fans disliked him. As Clucas was being transferred for, by our terms, a massive fee and some Swansea were asking of him, it wasn't that off-track to be fair.
