Adam Houghton highlights the major changes to the Timeform ratings after the Dante Festival at York and the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
Only colts and 4yo fillies. Didn't mention Natavia whom Mr Charlton seems to rate a bit. I read the comments about Stoute's fillies in the Middleton Stakes and think back to Dick Hern. He had his horses right to win their races first time out. Why does Stoute think he should have a few soft tries before the big races?
On ‘Racing Post’ ratings for European older horses clear by some way, at the moment, (off the top of my head I think its 123 and the next best is 117) is Signs Of Blessing. Recorded a very big number for winning a French Group 3 recently under a big penulty (for being a Group 1 winner). He’s apparently going to come over for the King Stand, next month.
