Comm stuck this song up a couple of weeks ago, loved it first time hearing and in my iconic tunes now, absolute brilliant it is and as much as the original has history for me, this song just ticks the boxes. So what songs have you heard for the 1st time, loved and loved more over the years..? and this one, one of my favourite bands at the time, this song is a classic and at the time shocked a lot of people but an instant like..enjoy
1st time I heard Badge & White Room by Cream stuck in my head as well. Probs too many to mention to be honest.
Ditto mate but this was the one that they did, that has always stuck in my head.. Love this song..Bass lines make it..
I remember hearing this the first time and thinking wow, that is the way to play a SG.. Tony Iommi was the best beforehand..
Rosie Gaines, Closer than close, because since the first time I heard it, to this very day, it hasn't got old, it's still an incredible tuuuuuuuune! Modern era wise... this will be in my playlist for years, I know it, right up my street for various reasons.
His verse in 'No Love' ft Lil Wayne wipes the floor with Rap God imo. I think Rap God was an experiment, to showcase his ability, but probably not his best MC work. Renegade with Jay-Z was possibly him at his very best.
listened to an album today by a band called "various artists" it was all cover versions but very good.
Not a massive fan of Marvin Gayes, Sitting on the Dock of the Bay. However watch "Playing for Change" version on youtube. Absolutely superb.
Absolutely everybody in history has covered that song and none of them even half as good as Otis did it imo.
