I was just having a gander at the team news for tomorrow. It appears that we don't have a recognised striker available. I'm seriously reconsidering about bothering to go to this one.

Sylla out of FA Cup third round clash …

    • QPR face Blackburn Rovers at Loftus Road on Saturday in FA Cup
    • Sylla misses out, while fellow-forwards Polter and Washington are doubts
QPR boss Ian Holloway is once again dealing with a lengthy injury list as he prepares his squad for our FA Cup tie against Blackburn Rovers at Loftus Road this weekend.

Striker Conor Washington picked up a calf injury in training, making him doubtful for the game, while Idrissa Sylla misses out owing to concussion sustained in our 2-1 victory against Ipswich Town on Monday.

With Sebastian Polter also struggling to overcome a back problem, Holloway has limited options in the final third.

Meanwhile, Massimo Luongo – who has missed the last two games with a groin injury – is also a doubt for Saturday’s fixture against Owen Coyle’s side, while Steven Caulker remains sidelined with a hip problem.

Jack Robinson is still a couple of weeks away from returning as he overcomes a hamstring injury.

Michael Doughty and Darnell Furlong were recalled from their loan spell at Swindon Town by Holloway this week, but they are unavailable for Saturday’s fixture as they are Cup-tied.

Time for Ollie's dream, the 'false nine'! Play through the opposition all tippy tappy and walk the ball into the net.

    You know it makes sense.

    How about something like...

    Ingram
Kakay, Hall, Lynch, Hammeralian (you know who i mean)
    Pawel,Cousins, Ariel, Shopido
    Eze, Mackie

I was tempted to play Smithies up front as the loan striker but thought better of it!!!!!!!

That's all very depressing Nines, I'm just popping up to my loft to find my old Adidas Gerd Müller boots, I must be in with a chance of a game.

Have we still got Reece Grego-Cox playing for us?
    He was a centre forward

    And Yeni is a forward.

Definitely an opportunity for Ingram to impress, especially if he is expected to step up to be our #1 keeper with a possible Smithies departure.

I'm hoping to see a strong side fielded and our 3rd win on the trot. Playing against a fellow relegation contender, psychologically we should be treating the outcome of this match as we would another Championship fixture.

Only Plymouth (48) have been eliminated from the FA Cup third round more often than QPR (47)

How about starting with these two from the elite development squad up top?

    Dan DARBYSHIRE

    Position: Striker
    Date of Birth: 27/11/1997
    Place of Birth: Hammersmith, London
    Joined club: October 2013

Hammersmith-born Dan Darbyshire has been involved in the youth setup at Rangers for the past three years. The 18-year-old forward featured 17 times for the Under-18s in the 2015/16 season.

    Brandon ADAMS

    Position: Striker
    Date of Birth: 02/12/1997
    Place of Birth: Enfield, London
    Joined club: July 2014

Brandon Adams has been at QPR for over two years now and the youngster’s game has significantly developed since signing for the Hoops. Known for his composure in front of goal, Adams netted six goals for the Under-18s last year.
