He tried to throw it directly in his face. Fuchs was lining up for one of his chuck it in the mixer and hope throw ins. So it was pretty obvious that he threw it at Sanchez because he was in the way. The whole thing was a farce.

Saunders was clever, using the GK to make the ball live again. Fuchs deliberately thew the ball trying to aim it at Sanchez' face because he was frustrated. It was unsporting behaviour and he should have been booked along with Sanchez.

Benalouane should have seen red for that tackle, dangerous and malicious with intent.

 

Sanchez should have been booked after the ref warned him to move. Fuchs should have been booked for deliberately throwing it at Sanchez in an act of unsporting behaviour.

 

Sanchez is essentially a one man wall at a set piece. If he gets hit in the face he's doing his job in that wall. I still really don't see what rule Fuchs is breaking by taking a throw-in which Sanchez blocks and more than a player who strikes a free kick into the wall.

 

Fuchs, the poor bloke, was just trying to take a throw quickly but Sanchez clearly jumped in the way and then feigned an injury.

Shocking.

Ban Sanchez.

Fuchs was lining up for a long throw, and then deliberately threw the ball at Sanchez' face because he was frustrated. Should have been a booking for unsporting behaviour.

Sanchez turned and it hit his shoulder, and acted like a twat going down holding his face, but that doesn't negate the intent from Fuchs.

 

Pretty sure Fuchs rubbed a bit of grit into that ball and threw it at his shoulder so that the grit flew off into Sanchez' eye

If Fuchs had actually been aiming for his face he would have hit it .. as it was he hit his shoulder and Sanchez will rightly be getting the piss ripped by opposing fans for some time to come for his "Rivaldo" ...

 

Sanchez turned, that's why it hit his shoulder and not his face. Fuchs should have been booked, but Sanchez deserves the ridicule for going down holding his face.

 

He deserves more than ridicule.

 

The ref booked him. The incident was dealt with.

People can cry about it for as long as they want I suppose

 

He was booked for not retreating two yards. Trying to get an opponent sent off warrants a further punishment, IMO.

I'm not expecting anything to happen. Just saying this sort of thing needs to be punished heavily or there's no disincentive to do it.

 

Apparently Wenger threw a boot at him because he said he wants to join Chelsea.

 

It was twatish, but Sanchez made himself look like an idiot. Nothing more.

Diving to try and get a penalty is a far worse offence in my opinion

 

its a shame he didnt catch the ball smack on his nose, that roll around merited it.
