A sad old man with yellow teeth and dirty brown shoes, trying to impress a much younger woman that he fancies. He gives her a play thing to do with as she likes, and he underwrites the cost and she proves totally inept .

 

The likes of Jim White repeatedly fall for the "He's invested £30m" line. Money spent on facilities is an investment, true, but money spent on dud players and managers is not.

 

he's not spent it though! it's a loan and he charges 3% interest. he's not spent a penny, the debt we're building up will be the next owners problem. we'll be paying him back for years. i mean, honestly, i hope he dies soon so we can rebuild, but if we're unlucky and he hangs in there, we're screwed for the foreseeable.

 

Surely they should question why we are languishing in the bottom half of league 1 after all the money Roland has put in.
