I'd recommend 12 step recovery if things get too bad.

    Have you had an epiphany

or have they found the correct balance for your medication

either way I prefer the New Hiag as he makes intelligent and interesting posts about football.

so who do you think Leicester will get in ? A survival specialist or someone like Pardew !

Might be time to adjust the signature, you don't want people being reminded of the past?

It should now say 'I love PISKIE and SKIDDY'

A truly changed man would do this, especially one that's really ****ing dull.

I don't think he should go too far and we don't want GM getting excited.

  14. Neither, I believe. It's simply a case that I have decided to be a different person.

The old HIAG was great fun, but now I am having fun being dull.

    Thanks, mate.

It is true that the old HIAG had a limited knowledge of football, and could offer very few opinions on the beautiful game. The new HIAG, however, is extremely knowledgeable on the subject, and he takes a keen interest in the affairs of, not only his own beloved Spurs, but every club.

    Good question.

I previously mentioned the name of Ian Holloway, and it was only partly in jest.

LCFC fans have got to be realistic about who they can bring in. Are there any big-name managers available who would be prepared to risk their reputation by going to LCFC and possibly taking them down a division? I cannot see it.

I do not see them getting a big-name manager for that reason.

Of the recognised survival specialists, all the decent ones are either in the throes of saving their respective club, or (having survived a crisis) are now in the process of moving their club into happier waters. Why would such a manager want to go to Leicester?

Undoubtedly, money will play a major part, but I suspect that it will take an immense amount of cash to tempt a manager of the necessary calibre to take the risk of moving to LCFC.

I think this is a major crisis for Leicester City.

I understand that Martin O'Neill is the fans' favourite, and I think he would have as good a chance as any in saving the club from relegation, but why would he risk his reputation and leave his current job as Ireland coach to do that? None of the bigger names that are being mentioned will relish the prospect of (a) being seen as the man that took LCFC down a division, (b) and then having to work hard in the Championship to get the club promoted.

The job is more likely to appeal to a lower division manager looking for the next rung up on his career development; but is that the kind of man that LCFC need, and how could such a person possibly be any better than the man they have just sacked?

It's a mess, and I don't profess to have any answers to how it can be resolved.

  15. I am giving some serious thought to my signature, Luvvy.

Part of me thinks it's a good idea to keep my signature exactly how it is, as a constant reminder at just how bad the former times were, and to spur me on to continually undertake good acts. That signature is my hair-shirt, if you will.

As your spiritual advisor and guide toward salvation, I think you are steering towards being a bottler on this issue.

  17. Even as you were writing those words, I was reviewing my signature and removing some of the more hurtful comments about you, Pix.

Again, you sleight me, and again I forgive you.

It is a big mistake sacking CR, as it shows LCFC to be no different than any of the other hire n fire brigade, and that the Owner has no respect for the fans just his bank balance.
I hope his decision comes back to haunt him.

I can see that your transition is difficult for you as you still have comments about your tormentor in your signature. Free yourself from your bondage mate and wipe the slate clean. You'll feel better for it.

Shameful from Leicester. If ranieri hadn't won the league last season then this would never have happened anyway. They truly are in the **** now.
