A very tough game but if the player and manager think they are good enough for the top 6 then they need to prove it this weekend against the likes of the other top sides!
They're not the side they were when we played them on the opening day, so I think we'll win this one. Normally I think it would be a goal fest. But we're not going to concede many goals now, so I think we'll win 2-0 or 2-1...
Can't see us getting anything out of this to be honest - we're powderpuff up front and they've got some dangerous players 1-2
I thought that out of the top teams we have played in the last four games Scunny were by far the worst of the three, Bradford and Sheffield were both far ahead of them although the league tables say differently. Thought we deserved and should have had all three points today
Such a bittersweet day as we should have won after a very strong performance in all departments. The goal we gave away was so frustrating as otherwise we had the game under control despite the greater amount of possession Scunthorpe were seeing in the second half. Let's not be too harsh on Ellis Harrison, his pass leading to the goal was woefully misguided but he's far from being the only professional footballer to make such a mistake and he looked crestfallen when the ball went in. One more point - HOW ON EARTH DID OLLIE CLARKE NOT GET MOTM????? It wasn't even close, he was a constant thorn in Scunthorpe's side all afternoon and his use of the ball was magnificent, a performance which underlines the progress he has made this season. He has suddenly become one of the most integral parts of our team.
Totally agree AMOT about Ollie Clarke he has improved so much this season and his play seems to give Chris Lines more room to go forward and to think one position that people said that we needed to strengthen was DF mid fielder his performances have saved the club a fortune
