Have Williams not learnt from 2011 and 2013 that when they change direction on the car it generally turns out to be ****e? Unless they feel they have reached the end of the current concept, it seems strange they want to take such a risk when the last two years have been pretty good from them.
I hope they don't try and improve cornering at the expense of top end speed. I like the way each teams car has their strengths and weaknesses. Mind you Williams do need to improve wet weather performance that would be good but again not at the expense of other good properties. I think Williams know all too well that to have any chance of podiums they have to focus on a niche aspect of their car like top speed. Reminds me of Top Trumps and knowing the best property of each car to win
I think they need to invest on improving their ****ty strategic decisions and even ****ter pit stops.
It seems strange to change any design concept with rule changes in 2017. I was suprised when Merc said they were aswell.
