Fruit don't expire by the way, even a brown or black banana has more benefits than a white one.

People throw away tons of perfectly good fruit and veg, simply because the supermarkets package it in plastic and stick a best before date on it. That does not mean it is unfit to eat.

 

Put a peach on your table and come back to it in a month .

 

You seem to be diverting away from your original comment, about selling expired fruit. Put the Peach in a cold store and come back to it in that same month. A lot of fruit and veg can store for a year if stored correctly I not in supermarket plastic packaging.
