I had hoped he might not be as terrible as the previous managers since Capello. Well, we´ll never know now...

Who do you want as next England manager? I guess the F.A. will choose someone who is as straight laced and F.A minded as possible now. Gareth Southgate is going to step in apparently. Jesus Christ desperate times...Big Sam and his bigger mouth, probably deserves to go...

England are DOOMED I tell thee, DOOMED!!! :headbang:

Maybe they'll appoint Howe on Friday and leave the Cherries ripe for us to pick on Saturday...

If anyone was going to get themselves into trouble with their big mouth it was him!

Mind you the contenders for the job include Pardew and Hoddle - both not exactly PR savvy.

    Probably end up being Southgate/Bruce.

My worry is that he will now get a job at Sunderland or Hull and keep them up. He is good at that.

As for the England job, I'm surprised that the FA haven't already appointed their love child, Wayne Rooney.

One of the papers up here is tipping Warburton to take over.

Mind you, they also have Mr Integrity as a contender...

What I find interesting and I have not heard anybody raise this question in the media yet is, why did the Telegraph set up a sting against Allardyce (spelling?). Surely they did not set up many random stings in the hope they might just catch someone out. What information did they have that made them think it was worth investing the time and money in a sting against him. They have been conducting an investigation into fraud in football for 10 months. What did this throw up and what does the football world know about him which the press and pundits are not disclosing.

Long live the DT! FA have asked for all the info they have, interesting times ahead, bound to be temptation with all the pressure for results and money sloshing about.

Shearer for manager? He wants the job.

It did help his cause that Big Sam also had a pop at the FA regarding Wembley and the waste of money in the game even if he had a point!

Even where I work (small retailer) we are told not to comment on the business in public.

I think it is unfairly fair that entrapment exists, it is probably the only way I can think of that really might discourage others.

It is the public stocks in the village but on a modern scale. it is was not for this journalistic method, the public would be screwed over even more but the greedy.

In summary, act right and you will be fine. Job done.
