Unfortunately player transfers is not an exact science. So much can prevent a player being a success with a new Club especially when coming to a new league in a new country for the first time. Reasonable to expect some will be a success and at least rads making a big effort. Hope you keeping btw glory

WJ if you are still thinking of getting a cheap flight it would be good to meet up for a pint or two there. I'm driving down to get there for the game on Sunday so could even pick you up from Munich airport if the timing was right.

Arghhh! If only you'd said yesterday!

I've just got permission to go over (with Mrs WJ), but not until Wednesday, returning on the Monday. Still trying to sort it out. I'm not going to try renegotiating with her in case I undo what I've already achieved I've been quite underhand. I managed to find cheap flights from Edinburgh, so temptation #1 was her getting to see the outlaws. Temptation #2 was me driving lady muck around the Tyrol (whatever that is) for a few days in between matches. Outline itinerary is:

19th. Fly into Munich late, stay at airport hotel
20th. Scoot down to Schwab for 2:15pm ko. Prolly stay the night
21st. Heading to Switzerland via Liechtenstein. No idea where I'm staying.
22nd. Fcuk nose where I'll be. No idea where I'm staying.
23rd. Shoot along to Jenbar for 5pm ko. Prolly stay the night.
24th. Scoot up to Munich & fly to Edinburgh late.

Missed a career as a Travel Agent, didn't I? Itinerary may change once shewhomustbeobeyed starts interfering. Apart from the 2 matches, that is. She may find herself stranded in the middle of nowhere is she tries that one. So are you going to the 2nd or 3rd match? Would be great to meet up for a few if you are.

 

I'm going to the 1st and second games but, unfortunately, driving to Stuttgart after the second match to stay overnight as I have to get home by Friday night, so won't be drinking that day. We will have to meet at the match, you can't miss me I'm the one who has to tuck the bottom of my shirt in my socks so it don't drag along the floor

 

LOL. I've got a firmer itinerary now. Will PM you. Btw, I'm easy to spot too. You'll hear me before yo see me. Fat, white hair & beard evolving into a Brian Blessed job. And I'll be the guy with his gut hanging out of the bottom of his shirt
