Is that sell out just for season tickets? Do they have to keep on hold so many cheap tickets for matchday fans?
Eire unfortunately parachute payments means they can carry on and gamble on getting back up. Last season Midds & Sunderland both recieved way in excess of £120m each. They will both have penalty clause contracts to reduce wages or sell on high earners, and those parachute payments this season and indeed for the next 4 seasons makes it simple for them and rewards failure. Yes some teams gamble too far and do a Wigan or Bolton but most manage to bounce up and down. Fulham & QPR getting it right again and initial cock up by Villa will see them do well as will Birmingham. £16m parachute payments is way more than most clubs will earn in the championship fairly never mind having this unfair advantage. Thats your new players for the coming season sorted for free. Sunderland also have huge gates
Afternoon all... If we are sending Coyle out on loan and the coach hasn't had a chance to assess him yet you can only asume we must be confident in signing at least a new LB as well as a couple of CB's? Berardi is a RB who can play well at LB but we can't go into a season with no cover?
I forgot about this bloke. Anyone know anything about him? Seems to have been retained too, so wonder what's going on with him. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/07/0...e-chance-to-impress-new-leeds-boss-th/page/1/
Newcastle scored 85 goals last season Leeds scored 61 so by my reckoning and yours you are 1 LB short, 2 CBs and 24 goals short with 4 weeks to go, better get your fingers out
