Good point It was with Ristac. Ill praise Rad when he does something praiseworthy. Without going over old ground he said himself he knows nothing about running a club and wasnt investing in players in January. So in my book, so far, hes added nothing to what we already have. Of course were having a terrific season but Ristacs points are very valid. Our main players and coaching staff are either loanees or need improved contracts to have a chance of keeping them in the event of us not getting promotion. Even the most positive Leeds fan must see that as still being a huge battle even if were in the playoffs. I dont see this as particularly having a go at Monk or Rad though. Monks done a terrific job whereas Rad has yet to do anything
This seam is now exhausted. The bones have been picked clean. The barrel has been totally scraped. However you want yo phrase it.... .....Move along now.
A win on Saturday and the pressure changes to the chasing pack, they can't afford many more slip ups. Trouble is we need to improve our record against other top six teams and in local derby matches.
Even if you are totally correct, and you may well be, I think the real point Billy was making is why question any of it now? We got into this position with these players and coaches, even if Pedrazza and Barrow add nothing, 100% pulling in the same direction now is our best hope for years. You have your opinion on Rad, I am quite clear on what I think will happen but tbh it won't make an ounce of difference to the players between now and the end of this season what he does now (as long as they are paid and the owners let the experts run the team). Personally, I think we may fall a touch short but like WJ, it almost doesn't matter - I can't remember enjoying Leeds this much for many a year. Either way, I will reserve my judgement on Rad until August when I think we will have a much clearer idea on what he has or hasn't done rather than assuming it is nothing because there is nothing tangible announced yet. If he still has a partner and says now is not the time to invest in the team because there is so much work to do elsewhere etc come August, I will be as disappointed as the next man
Any little run of three of four wins on the spin now just may knock the stuffing out of the chasing pack - I am more interested in Norwich, Fulham, Barnsley and possibly Derby results now than I am Brighton & Newcastle etc.
Is this before or after our fisticuffs? In all seriousness, can we all stick to gentlemanly jabs and the odd rib tickler because I have got a very painful back and will struggle with any rolling around wrestling stuff?
I am going to kick you as hard and as often as my ailments allow following your blatant attempt to prolong my recent embarrassment.
Agree with you. That's what I meant a couple more wins and if the teams you mention draw or lose one then suddenly the gap is 8-9 points. Personally I don't think anyone is catching the top two.
