I must admit, I wouldn't want to lose the BBC but something is wrong with how they do it and spend the money. I guess you can't please everyone, take Top Gear and the money they lost with the Clarkson incident (although I hate Clarkson) Top Gear was a massive seller.

Eastenders and Casualty and every other soap, scrap the lot for me personally but they are the bread winners and the BBC needs them.

I love Chris Evans on the radio in the morning, don't pay the going rate and he is off to a rival. Grimshaw on Radio 1 I can't stand the guy and won't listen to it while he is on.

If you don't have an interest you'd say overpaid, Wimbledon for me wouldn't be the same without McEnroe but Sue Barker and never won a thing Henman, get rid..

Match of the day, won't watch or listen to it, can't stand any of them, Shearer, Lineker, Hansen all pricks

 

Reading between the lines, Doc, one could be forgiven in believing you don't like the BBC, is this true? If you don't like a thing, you could try to be a little more specific about your actual likes and dislikes. Try a bit harder, eh?

 

He doesn't like it, but is forced to pay for it like millions of others do, that's the point.

I'd miss radio 5 live and 5 live xtra. Good for footie and tms. Surely time they scrapped the fee though. They must make good revenue from bbc.com and selling programmes and rights abroad.

 

Radio 4 and 4 extra are worth the fee on their own and where would the colonies be without the world service.

 

We don't pay for terrestrial TV, via a license, here and it's CR.............! well not good. You get what you pay for I guess, best programmes come from the BBC usually, in my opinion

Our leftie broadcasting station is RTE and we pay for a TV Licence, which is enforced by our Postal service. If you don't pay you get fined or sent to prison. It's a ****ty station. But these ****s still spend hundreds of thousands of tv licencees money on the useless Euro vision contests....
