    Best Driver: Alonso
    Worst Driver: Palmer
    Best Rookie/Young Driver: Giovinazzi
    Best Team: Ferrari
Suprise Team: TR were very good.
    Worst Team: McLaren
Best Overtake: Perez on Sainz into Turn 3 was pretty tasty if not a tad rude.

Most Surprising Result: Red Bull being so far off the pace.
Least Surprising Result: Two Mercs on the podium
Funniest moment: ToTo doing Hammer time on his desk when Vettel took the lead.
Excuse of the week: Mercedes justifying the early pit. The tyres were degrading but they weren't degrading as much as we thought they were degrading.....blah blah

Special Mention: Vettel for winning, Bottas for keeping Lewis honest and Grosjean
Best post from the race thread:
Race Rating: 7.5/10: We had a legitimate new race winner, faster times, cars that followed and tyres that were still being pushed.

Best Driver: - hmmm... Alsno is basically heroic for putting a car he says is dead last in 10th until its ****ty engine imploded finally.

Worst Driver: K mag... despite being cleared by stewards (consistency please on this form here on in) the guy clearly ****ed it.

Best Rookie/Young Driver: I would have given it to gio before the race. after the race? absolutely. 12th is very very credible there.

Best Team: I'm not sure, theres clearly two top teams but maybe force india v torro rosso was good fight. one of these two?

Worst Team: Mclaren by a mile. but red bul deserve special mention for managing to not get ricciardo out for his home race, but thats a tad unfair i suppose.

Best Overtake: was there really one of note? There was one but a mclaren was involved so its not really fair.

Most Surprising Result: alonso getting to 50 laps in top 10. shocker...

Least Surprising Result: top 3 remaining top 3 all race.

Funniest moment: I'm not sure there was much funny about it frankly.

Excuse of the week: "i don't know how you expect me to do that"

Special Mention: vandorne managing to get a mclaren round a full race distance... dead last but still. Raikkonen being off the pace all race then getting fastest lap at end... verstappen kept pace with raikkonen in a clearly inferior car and finally... massa for taking the car he had and putting it 6th

Best post from the race thread: wasn't on i think.

Race Rating: 0.5 out of 1 then.

Best Driver: Vettel. Controlled the race well. I can't give it to Alonso, sorry, but how can you really judge how good putting a car 13th on the grid is and pootling around in the mid-field in the race where overtaking was non-existent?
Worst Driver: Palmer. Off the pace all weekend, made worse by dropping it in quali. Can't give him the benefit of the doubt if the car had an undiagnosed issue all weekend until Renault come out and say so. He is not 3secs slower than Hulk though so expect to see better in China.
Best Rookie/Young Driver: Giovinazzi, really impressive debut having been dropped in only at FP3. Pascal better not have too much more time off..............just saying.
    Best Team: Ferrari
    Worst Team: Renault
    Best Overtake: ?

Most Surprising Result:Mclaren finsihing a race
    Least Surprising Result: Hamilton Pole.
    Funniest moment:
Excuse of the week: Mercedes, whatever they said about losing the race. They just lost it fair and square.

Special Mention: Ocon point and Grosjean for quali performance

Race Rating: 5/10 . Look outside the non-Merc win, and what really happened on the track? Wasn't dull dull dull, but rarely had moments of genuine excitement. Back to winning it in the pit stops again?
