The Gaffer confirmed at his press conference that he's neither impressed nor is he paying any attention in the rumour that West Ham are chasing him. His concentration he said is getting us into the play offs. Denis Odoi is still going to be out for this game but everyone else is available. Over at Norwich Ed 'Strictly' Balls is ringing out the backroom changes and new, in the caretaker sense, manager Alan Irvine seems to got through to the team in his few weeks in charge. Doubt if there's any need to remind you of the 7-1 thumping they gave Reading last weekend. They're not the only one's to have taken Reading to town at home of course. But it does go without saying Norwich have some dangerous players, like Houlihan, on their day. Back with us Jokanovic says he needs "brave people and we need to fight all together with or without the ball". So, did he have of that out on the field against Ipswich? Nearly, I'd say. And most certainly, contrary to my prediction last week, he'll play Martin against his old team. With 2 games in 4 days over Easter believe he will go with the same again (nearly) and worry about the Villa game whenever. ........................Bettinelli............. ..Fredericks...Kalas....Ream...Sessegnon... .......................McDonald.... ..............Cairney......Johansen.... ........Aluko.........Martin......Ayite..
Today we've got Andrew Madley looking after things. please log in to view this image One of the Huddersfield supporting Madley brothers, Andy plods along in the shadow of his younger sibling Bobby (him who did our game in the Spurs Cup game). He's ambitious though is our Andy and gamely tries to add a bit of panache and pomp to his outings on the pitch. In his 38 games so far this season Andy has dolled out 128 yellows and 6 reds. We've seen him twice this season. Back in October when we lost 1-0 away to Villa. He booked 4 that day, all ours: Piazon, McDonald, Martin and Madl. Then more recently, the 1-0 away defeat to Birmingham when he showed 5 yellows and 1 red; McDonald and Aluko seeing yellow and Fredericks red.
Almost, C58: Bettinelli, Fredericks, Kalas, Ream, Malone, Johansen, McDonald, Aluko, Cairney, Ayité, Martin.
COME ONNNNNNNNNN Brilliant from the boys, this would've been a good win anyway but to do it with 10 men for the whole 2nd half is massive.
7 minutes injury time? I wonder how much Norwich (or Sheffield Wednesday!) had to pay for this referee...
You're a disgrace as a football team. Time wasting from minute 5, then all through the game. We came to play football you didn't!! I'm surprised if you'll be able to put a team out for the next game as you must have loads of players with serious injuries! The amount of time they spent on the floor then got up and ran off was truest amazing to see! Cheating at its best well done!
