    The Devil's number<devil> - I read somewhere that for centuries people believed 666 to be the number after it was translated as such from an ancient manuscript. Until a few years ago when a scholarly type revisited the manuscript and discovered an error in the translation - it really should be 616.

    As long as it's not606 <laugh>

    Yes Bolton I remember that but think it was on QI they said it was not 666 but QI get lots of things wrong (deliberately) like saying we have more than one moon etc so I meant to check it out - but for now I am happy to go with 666 :)

    No - but interestingly, as near as I can work out, the Greek equivalent of John Parkin works out to 616. Isn't his nickname The Beast?
