The Swans finish the calendar year at home to Eddie Howe's impressive Bournemouth.

2016 has certainly been a year of change & transition for the Swans - new (majority shareholder) owners and 3 (?) different Managers/Coaches, namely Curtis, Guidolin & Bradley - if we lose badly against West Ham on Boxing Day, will there be a 4th?

Swansea and Bournemouth have played each other on 55 occasions, with the Swans winning 23, Bournemouth 21 and 11 draws.

In the corresponding fixture last season the teams played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Andre Ayew and Jonjo Shelvey earned Swansea a draw after they had been two goals down.

This is a game the Swans will have to win and I think they will squeeze through 2-1.

 

The Cherries were all over us last season and stormed into an early 2-0 lead. The boos rang round The Liberty but luckily for Garry Monk the Swans got one back just three minutes later through an Andre Ayew backheel to appease the crowd.

An equaliser before half time saw the match finish 2-2 and Monk had a reprieve .......but only for a few more games.

 

Lose against WHU and Bournemouth will rip us apart.

Pundits, fans and neutrals all admire Bournemouth. That was us, not to long ago

 

God I just hope we win this 1-0 will do!

That's how Man U have won titles in the past - grinding out results against the unfashionable sides when they're not firing on all cylinders. 1-0, Cantona was a standing order one season.

 

If we don't win against the Hammers , this will be the game that breaks Bradley's back ....and ours ...the Hammer game is the game that tells our 2016-2017 story
