I get the feeling the jeering was still fresh in Clement,s ears at Southampton when he made aggressive changes late . I might have left well enough alone and taken a chance on scoring a lucky goal . 4-0 could turn out to be a real thorn in our side by season's end

He's been superb replacing Gylfi on the creative side so far too.

Rocky probably had to go as he would have been tiring in his first PL game. He also seemed to have been slightly limping before being taken off.

Clement got criticised for bringing on Bartley last week - and taking him off this week! He can't win. I agree that it may have been better to leave well alone at the back, but in a way its done us a favour. In front of an international TV audience it's shown the Board our glaring weaknesses and this alone should make them act swiftly in the transfer market.

Fully agree. The irony is that the 4-0 scoreline was the best thing that happened today.

Had we drawn it would have been papering over the huge cracks.

I am absolutely shattered as it's been a hell of a long day but i had to watch the game before i go to bed......I have to say it looked like a cup tie where a Div1 or 2 side take on a premiership side and have a reasonable start but were never going to win as the class between the two sides was vast......As a supposed premiership club then quite frankly in name only and with all our best players gone then we are more a League 1 or 2 than anywhere near the championship let alone the premiership. Im of the opinion now that Jenkins has completed his mission and there is no way back.....We need a minimum of 6 quality players but where are we going to find them with only 12 days of the window left, and even if we do target players Jenkins will never release enough funds to get them. I feel sorry for Clem but again why has he not spoken up and demand backing or i will go....We look like a lower league club, We play like a lower league club and we have Jenkins who has always had the mentality of a lower league club....What a massive difference to 7 seasons ago when we looked a good side.....

United brought quite an entourage of "officials" to the match, the most I've seen in the away Directors' Box, yet I recognised/knew only Sir Bobby Charlton & his wife.

Despite being nearly 80 years old (in October) he still looked pretty fit.

Him and his wife go everywhere. Had the pleasure of talking to the man back in 2008 at the swimming world championships in Manchester. Kindly signed my business card for my son, a true gent.

The difference being he brought a third CB on to try to ensure the point at Southampton , he took one of the three starting CB,s off to try to get a point against Man U . Not to worried about the outcome of this game , we did alright for 80 minutes , expiermenting a system while having a striker up front starting his 2 game for us while our top scorer from last season waits in the weeds to get healthy . With Siggy finally gone , I,m sure Clement is happy to bring in 2 or 3 players before the window closes . Pretty hard to do anything until Siggy finally went . Siggy knew he was going , Clement knew Siggy was going , why in the fuk they couldn't get the deal done earlier pisses me off but it is what it is

But we need 2 or 3 players of real game changing quality, not 2 or 3 players. How have they mis-managed to such a disgraceful degree, that we're going to have any chance of getting anywhere near that recruitment target in 12 days.

We also need 2-3 other quality players on top of the game changers. We're fvcked...

That's what is said almost every season since we came up , and we're still up .Besides a few players, the only thing we need is Llorente back up front or a good replacement and less than 4 different people managing the team this season . Clement better get more than 7 games , regardless of results .

We've needed it for the past few seasons. Difference is, we had Gylfi to pull us out of the crap. The past 2 games have highlighted further just how important he was to our team.
