I think most would agree that we as a team are a work in progress and this fixture was one too many with our limited numbers.
Had we had some of our injured back then SG may well have been able to make a few changes.
It'll be interesting to see what team he puts out at Carlisle next Tuesday, certainly rest some and play a few kids but I'm sure SG will want to progress and Carlisle did have a good win at home yesterday.
Anyway Carlisle is just up the road for me so got tickets for the family including grandkids so looking forward to it,onwards and upwards.

I recall last time we were in the feeder league so many teams just came here parked bus and made us break them down and time wasting was a big part of the their games. We need a creative middle man - ...Snodgrass ??

Glad someone agrees with me about Browning. His decision making is awful. If a ball is played long he seems to let it bounce putting us under pressure or spoons the clearance with his weaker foot. He looks ponderous and slow imo, quicker trickier strikers in the league will torture him.

Less said about Galloway the better. He's not ready to be playing week in week out at this level. Worst positional awareness I've ever seen from a full back and jesus we've had some God awful full backs.

Hope Oviedo is fit and firing soon. I'd also give Matthews a go at right back.

Hope we sign a centre back this week. We will need two if Kone leaves

I was wondering about giving Matthews a chance at RB. He's not had much game time but he looks like he might offer more in attack. Jones is an ok defender but absolutely terrible past the halfway line.

What do you reckon to Matthews from the little we've seen? Clutching at straws a bit but he seems to have more about him in attack than Jones not that it's hard. Few quite nice passes forward.

Said it leaving the match yesterday to the lads that I'd give him a go instead of Jones.

Can't really be any worse than him can he?

Certainly not going forward no, I haven't got many complaints about him defensively at this level but it looks like Grayson wants his RB and LB to push forward and Jones just hasn't got that in his locker. Can't cross, head, shoot or pass with any accuracy around the box.

I don't want to be too hard on the bloke because he does try and he's doing just about ok but we've got Matthews there and it's all about competition for places.

Jones or Mathews. Its like choosing a date between Susan Boyle and Theresa May.

I still think he's ****. Just because he puts in a shift and works hard doesn't mean much if he's not contributing.

I'd like to see Oviedo back in and Matthews as our FB's next week at Barnsley.

We also need a CB, two if Kone leaves IMO as well as a striker who can offer something different to Vaughan when he doesn't come off like yesterday.

Agreed on all counts although I think Jones is slightly less **** than you.

Oviedo and Matthews is what I'd go with next game.

Always good to come on here and read a few more level-headed views rather than the fare you get from all the bedwetters on Facebook.

It was inevitable that we'd lose at least one of the first few. We've played some good, experienced Championship sides, and we're still finding our feet at this level. Still optimistic that we can have a solid-ish season, around the 8th-12th mark, which given the utter turmoil at the club would actually be a decent effort.

Irish travelers reshaping pubs and clubs etc, both cromer and sheringham shut down all the licensed premises as the police could not handle the situation .
