I live 4 doors away from Embleton. His car was back when I walked past with the dog before. I'm going to ask him if I see him in the street tomorrow about how he feels about none of them getting a run out today.
Definitely a foul. I have a feeling that the contact happened right at the edge of the box and maybe should have just been a free kick. I haven't got the benefit of camera angles but after trying to pause it at exactly the right spot, I come to that conclusion
It`ll be interesting to get their take on it. Need to be a bit careful though mate. Don`t want to get them into bother and we never know who`s lurking waiting to cause mischief.
I didn't say that I would tell you lot In all seriousness, good point, I'm glad you mentioned it. I probably wouldn't have thought of that and just whacked on here what he said...
Yeah I know mate it would certainly be tempting. I think it`s wise to be cautious though. I wouldn`t be at all surprised if the media don`t keep an eye on these boards and you know what they`re like. It`ll be "we are reliably informed" or "our sources tell us" then bang. Bastards don`t like us at the best of times.
They do, mate. I've noticed the media have published a few things that have been put on here. I found out Adam Johnsons house was up for sale, the media didn't have a clue. I put it on here and the media then suddenly jumped all over it. It's happened a few times.
That looks the right call to me. Does the ball have to be completely over the line the same as for a throw in?
****ed up posting this and had to edit it and the thread has moved on since Could be a pen from that screenshot though? Hard to tell exactly when contact was made
It's where the contact was made not where the ball is, and if any part of where the contact is made, is on the line, then I believe it's a free kick. Otherwise people would hoof the ball into the box from the halfway line and dive on the floor to claim a penalty.
