It’s back to the age old problem that there is better value to be had buying on the continent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Flints well over rated IMO and wouldn't fit the style we are trying to embed. Although you could also argue the similarities with Pennington who I think along with Flint will struggle against the more pacey strikers in this league
No offence to your player but, people think he's good in the air crap on the ground, that being the case, think its a no thanks.
I wouldn't call him 'crap' on the ground. He is not the best, admittedly, but 'crap' is a bit harsh. He is slow - which means he does let himself down occasionally, but he is VERY good in the air - and he scores goals too, which is always an asset. For my part I don't really want him to go - and we don't need money either, so its win-win for us.
According to The Mirror, Leeds United are willing to pay £2m for Joe Bryan, but Birmingham City and Fulham are also in the mix. Hands off our Joe!!!!
Can't imagine us going in for him now we signed Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from the scum. Although he interested me a lot more than Flint does.
Seems we're in the hunt for striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga from Germany, although he's French. http://sportwitness.co.uk/latest-hamburg-lasogga-leeds-front-page-news-agent-comments-player-ready/ Wages of 60,000 quid a week might be a problem, but if we do end up signing him it creates a bit of a dilemma. Can't see Lasogga settling for 2nd best in pecking order, if it's the case Ekuban will go down to 3rd in pecking order, which is not why he came to Leeds, we'll probably end up losing him or sending him out on loan eventually.........so, question is, why are we looking to bring in another striker? Both Brighton and Burnley are set to make bids for Wood, both are in Prem. Don't believe me, no surprises... check the date https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...id-for-leeds-striker-chris-wood-this-weekend/ And if TC doesn't play Saiz this weekend he wants his head testing...... I like Pablo, good midfielder with lots of skills, but at moment Saiz seems the better goal/s threat from midfield....
Looks like Lasogga is here. http://www.footballinsider247.com/s...-signing-dines-players-ahead-clash-v-preston/
Reports in the Daily Liar that Leeds have approached Villa to take Ross McCormack on loan. That would split opinion a little
Can't see it. Even without his history, seriously bad attitude, and complete loss of form since he left us, who would he replace?
I read that too Xbpod, don't think many would want him back...............1 goal and he'll ask for a pay rise, if he didn't get it he'll run to Skysports looking for a transfer....
Dyche seems to want Wood bad, if the mail are to be believed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...y-ready-make-improved-20m-bid-Chris-Wood.html http://www.insidefutbol.com/2017/08...low-salary-for-burnley-target-claimed/346923/
Yes but I like TC's comment :- Christiansen said he had not sought assurances from either United or Wood that the striker would stay with Leeds this season but the United head coach quipped: “If they (rival clubs) give me £200m like for Neymar, perhaps we can talk about that. As we all know every footballer have their price. Can't drag this out if there is deal do it if not forget it or it affects the whole season
