    Hume to Donnie for £350,000 doing the rounds today, denied by the club, however apparently a very good forward is being brought to the club.

    Linked with Shaun Batt ex Millwall, though why we would want another winger is beyond me. Robertson looks like he will be the first to disappear out of the door linked with a move to possibly Cheltenham

    Robertson was well respected by LEP bloggers as a sturdy, solid defender but apparently outdated in that he was a hoofer of the ball. I agree, we do not need another winger. We need an Alex Dawson 'on me 'ead son' for this League. I see that some of the older bloggers on LEP are recallling the likes of Willie Cunningham and Joe Walton, Frank O'Farrell et cetera. The likes of these draw 1 - 1 against the Busby Babes at Deepdale. Would they have cut it in the Premiership? Impossible to tell
