Summer contract expiry

According to transfer market, theses are the contracts set to expire in the summer.

There's only Anita I'd keep....

Anita
Gouffran
Sammy
Atsu (loan)
Vukic
Riviere

So before replacing the likes of Murphy and Hanley, these lads need replacing at squad level.
I could also see the likes of Lazaar and/or Gamez and Sels head out the door too.

Rafa certainly has a job on his hands providing we get promoted......

 

Thauvin will complete his permanent move this Summer too don't forget.

In June 2018 we have the following contracts up:

Dummet
Gamez
Murph
Haidara
Good

Again, all bar Dummet can go for me.

 

I can't make my mind up on Atsu. There is definitely potential there, but potential doesn't win many football matches.

He shows flashes of brilliance but not often enough.
Maybe it's the lack of consistent game time?

 

It could be, but if it is then Rafa is not the manager for him.

 

More importantly Poundland have confirmed that your lease on those mustard chinos will expire at the end of the season. And they don't want to renew due to complaints from customers that seeing you in them damages the brand and devalues their goods.

Saivet is the other one we need to deal with, apparently his current loan isn't going to convert to a transfer

 

I'm positive about this season, but without major investment I can only say it as I see it for next season and it's relegation again without the investment required.

 

I'll be amazed if both Anita and Gouffran aren't here next year. I get the impression Rafas a big fan of the Gouff.

Hopefully, if Rafa is still here, he'll move the rest on....

Yohan Gouffran doesn't lack the work ethic but he does lack the ability to play in a competitive premier league team and I wouldn't want us to be anything but that so I'd let him move on.

Vurnon Anita has performed well in the championship but didn't make much of an impact when he played for us in the prem.

Sammy Ameobi has a shot on him and should prove to be a fine league football player but I suspect we won't be playing league football next season.

Atsu is a decent flair player but he's looking like a bit of a journey man as of yet.

Vuckic is on trial with Vitesse I believe and Manu Rivierre is a shocking forward and I believe his wages may make a permanent transfer a little difficult so I can see us sending him out on loan again whilst fronting a large proportion of his wages.
