The latest edict from Headquarters - we must all wear red for the Fulham game. Herr Flick - 'Excuses vill not be permitted'. The tripe we're being fed to help LJ is wearing thin. Now, where's my banner.
Red Robin's next line-up seemingly going to consist of Abraham, Taylor, Engvall, Wilbraham and Djuric as a front five, with Tomlin in behind.
'Really don't see him here for Newcastle'. Unfortunately RR, win lose or draw against Fulham, Junior's here for the duration. Lansdown's credibility is at stake. Another is the puppet Mark Ashton - 'Lee Johnson was the outstanding candidate'. It's almost funny looking back - that's if our Championship status wasn't at stake.
Pretty much agree with you Redprintt except for the Mark Ashton comment. He has to put a business face on and in all honesty if you take away the LJ-appointment he's done a phenomenal job here.
' if you take away the LJ-appointment he's done a phenomenal job here'. So we have the ingredients but haven't paid the electric.
'I think that's the general consensus on here is it not?' Seem like it but some, fair play to them, still believe in LJ.
Footballers are human beings - moving like Engvall has done is a big thing (not one I would have handled at 20) We need to give the boy a chance when fully fit (he never has been this year) Will Engvall be what we hoped for - who knows - every manager gets some signings wrong (Eric Djemba-djemba anyone? Or Juan Sebastian Veron?)
What's all this nonsense about not being able to handle things when you are 20. I moved from Edithmead to Woolwich, which was rather like landing on the dark side of the moon, when I was that age and now look at me. Thinking about it perhaps that answers a lot of questions because essentially I have been on the move ever since. Come on City for goodness sake and answer everyone's needs, and that means that we are still where we are next season and no need for another move downward.
