More likely target to get 4-4-4

4 wins - Burnley, Bournemouth, Swansea and Hull

4 draws - Boro, West Ham, Leicester and Watford

4 defeats - Man C, Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea
    I think this is realistic

35 points, think that'll be enough, can those in charge of the Premier league be warned of this in advance please.

Think you could even 'mix n match' those wins and draws. Whatever, we need those points and better to win them against those teams, thus depriving them . If we do, I'll gladly take four 6-0 drubbings in those other 4.

Burnley bournemouth swansea hull. All make or break. Not sure they are capable of doing it.

I don't see us going unbeaten in those 8 games. At least a couple of them will show us up. Think we're better off trying to win five than win 4, draw 4 to be honest.

We just have a **** load of losses in us.

I'd bet my house on us being Burnley's first and only away win this season.

We've done that sort of result so many times over the years we could be millionaires now if we'd remembered to get a bet on !

    I agree. I'm always positive but I can't see 4 wins.

We've played 26 games, won 5 and drawn 4 and we expect them to equal that tally with only 12 games remaining???? sorry but i just don't get that mate. As i said, forever the optimist, and i do believe that miracles sometimes do happen and that's exactly what it's going to take.

    Totally agree. It sounds ridiculous..

But we've done it before. A few times.

I just think this is one bridge too far.

As if ... but hope the New York bonding did'nt cause Mannone and Denayer illnesses .Picture in Echo tonight showed Defoe playing with a knee support on in Everton game.
I've never noticed this before -hope it's not caused by over training in New York. An interview with Honeyman on local radio said it was really hard.
No more from me till after Sunday

That'd be pretty typical, take them to New York for a break and some team bonding and instead play worse than ever and create multiple new injuries.

Ok so the OP has reasonable predictions..... But come on this is Sunderland; it's never straight forward is it ; knowing us it will be

5 Wins Man C, West Ham, Bournemouth, Hull, Swansea

3 Draws , Arsenal , Man Utd, Chelsea

4 Defeats Burnley, Leicester, Boro, Watford

But yes this is obviously more likely and looks possible but maybe it won't be enough points

4 wins - Burnley, Bournemouth, Swansea and Hull

4 draws - Boro, West Ham, Leicester and Watford

4 defeats - Man C, Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea

We haven't a snowballs chance in hell.
Shame you won't get to see the top league in the world next season unless you venture up to St James Park.

i've made my peace with the thought of relegation, if we stay up, absolute bonus, but in my heart and head I just don't see it happening now. We have a woeful squad for this league and led by a guy with zero motivational skills at all.
